Media business

ForMedia was set up in April 2002 to manage regional media assets, including TV and radio companies. The main cities in which the company is present are Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Krasnodar, Novorossiisk, Abakan, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod.

ForMedia's main achievement has been to make all of its regional units self-sufficient, implementing modern business methods, with on-going training and management consulting in the regions. ForMedia has created its own studios and teams of journalists, who enjoy popularity and recognition by the professional community, as demonstrated by ratings and numerous awards. The holding has a total audience of 7.5 million.

The FORWARD MEDIA GROUP publishing house was created in 2006 from OVA PRESS, which had enjoyed success in the Russian glossy magazines market since 1993. The company has recommended itself as a major player in the market, and its magazines have become leaders in their niches. FORWARD MEDIA GROUP can rightly be regarded as one of the fastest growing companies in the media market. Plans for the next five years include increasing the market share to 5% from 2%.
