Oleg Deripaska's Fund Will Equip Schools from Lomonosov's Homeland with Computers

Non-profit foundation 'Volnoe delo', created by a Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska, will provide primary school classes in all 27 schools of the Kholmogorsky district (the Arkhangelsk region) with individual computer facilities for pupils...
It will include 1200 student laptops with the installed software Microsoft Student Innovation Suite and network equipment worth 11, 175, 000 rubles. Moreover, the fund will provide computer literacy training for school teachers. The cost of 82 computers for teachers worth 1.7 million rubles will be allocated from the municipal budget of the Kholmogorsky district. Active members from the youth public organization "Young Pomorye" will be invited to implement the project and train the teachers.
According to the press service of the regional government, Governor Ilya Mikhalchuk and CEO of the "Free Business" Tamara Rumyantseva signed a cooperation memorandum in the Arkhangelsk region mission under the RF Government.
