Kuban State University students are granted Oleg Deripaska scholarship

On Friday, December 10, the ceremony honouring the winners of the Oleg Deripaska scholarship was held at Kuban State University. A total of 37 students majoring in science had taken part in the scholarship contest.
The scholarship certificates were given out to 12 students by Tamara Rumyantseva, the managing director of the Oleg Deripaska Volnoe Delo Foundation, and Ekaterina Nikitina, Director of Human Resources at Basic Element. Oleg Vikhansky, dean of the Moscow State University Business School, professor, Doctor of Economics and Chairman of the Board of Directors of OJSIC Ingosstrakh, also took part in the ceremony.
The scholarship program is yet another step for the partnership between the Volnoe Delo Foundation and Kuban State University. A number of new projects are planned for 2011: a student conference on the issues of proficiency training at universities, development of masters degrees in affiliation with universities in Germany and France, student and teacher internships at Basic Element companies - and many more.
